Pass that Dutch is a collaboration with Ali Deane that started by removing the litter from the Seminole highway exit in Madison, WI. While collecting garbage, we set aside items we found interesting to sort through later. The items ranged flags, spoons, bottles, etc. All the usual roadside debris. The item that piqued our interest however was a small torn piece of cardboard - maybe 2” x 3” with the remains of a logo. This object become the object of study, and the subject of this monograph.

We spent a month researching the object, the history of its brand, the stories we could associate with it. Everything we leaned is contained within.
