‘Where is Gabriel Orozco’ is a photo essay in search of the artist.

In January 2020, I spent a week in Mexico City. Not long before this I watched an interview with Gabriel Orozco claiming to inhabit the city as a studio. I wanted to challenge this assumption, and look for the evidence of the artist’s production on my walks. The photo’s within this book are the objects and moments that best contain Orozco’s aura (at least as claimed by me).
